If you didn’t know I am a lifelong fan of Bristol City who for those outside the UK who are unaware, play in the NPower Championship. ( The league directly below the Premier League in England )

The site Bristol City News was primarily setup to be a resource for myself, so I can publish as much syndicated City related news and keep it all in the same place. Without the need to navigate between site after site.

Another good thing about setting up Bristol City News, was it allowed me to experiment further with not only Photoshop for the banner but also WordPress. As a result, expect to see some changes to Leading Casino, as I plan to put into practice some of the skills I have learnt here .

Johnson has eliminated the drinking culture that blighted our club, got us into the Championship at the first full season of asking and has established City as a respected Championship side. Yes the run of results has been very poor and certainly luck has not been on our side for most periods this season, Palace game omitted. But we have a strong squad and the ability to stay in the Championship as there are certainly worse teams than us in this league. Obviously a lot needs to be done in the summer to improve things. But as fans we need to unite behind the team, the club and the manager.

Last night the second half against Leicester City proved that we have a good enough squad to stay in this division. Indeed it looks at last we have found our right formation. We were also so desperately unlucky not to win, yet again conceding an equaliser straight after we went ahead in injury time

Below celebrations in the Atyeo after Clarkson puts us in front. These were to be short lived.

For those doom and gloom merchants though, Ladbrokes are offering good odds on us to go down to League One or whisper it ‘ Stay Up’!!  Also check out  Bet365 for the same.

I will be backing us to stay up. I also will be backing Johnson to be taking charge of the City team come the start of the 2010/11 season.
